Electromech is established by Mr. Vinayak Mehendale in partnership with a group of other technocrats as ElectroMech Engineers
After 14 years of partnership, the partners decide to go their independent ways. Mr. Vinayak Mehendale becomes the sole owner of ElectroMech Engineers and shifts the business to an 800 sq.m facility in Pimpri near Pune, India
Additional adjoining land admeasuring 800 sq.m is purchased to expand capacity and cater to the growing demand for ElectroMech’s products
ElectroMech Material Handling Systems (I) Pvt. Ltd. Is incorporated in order to corporatize the growing business.
Business is growing and to cater to future capacity requirements, additional land admeasuring 10,000 sq.m is purchased in Pirangut near Pune, India.
On 17th January, Mr. Vinayak Mehendale suffers a severe cardiac arrest and he passes away at the age of 52 years.
On 18th January, Mr. Tushar Mehendale, his eldest son, who was 24 years old at the time, takes over the reins of the company.
After stabilizing the company through a turbulent transition period, ElectroMech starts spreading its wings. The first export order is executed with cranes being supplied to UAE and Oman.

ElectroMech starts spreading its sales network across India by establishing it's first branch offices in Chennai and New Delhi.

ElectroMech expands further its manufacturing capacity to cater to the growing demand for its cranes in the market. The total factory area now became 5600 sq.m.
With the demand for its cranes continuing, ElectroMech acquires additional 24,000 sq.m land adjacent to its existing factory to enable further expansion.
