1979  Electromech was established by Mr. Vinayak Mehendale in partnership with a group of other technocrats
1993  Mr. Vinayak Mehendale split up from other partners and became 100% owner of ElectroMech
2000  A major blow to company as Mr. Vinayak Mehendale passed away unexpectedly
2000 His son Mr. Tushar Mehendale who had just returned from US completing his MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, took over the reins of the company as Managing Director
2004 A new factory was built at Pirangut, Pune, India to cater to the growing demands of the Indian market
2005 ElectroMech entered into a tie-up with ABUS Crane Systems as a sole representative for India
2007 ElectroMech launched its new Brand Identity reflecting global aspirations
2008 Completed Final Validation of Empact Hoisting Mechanism for SGEOT & DGEOT cranes
2008 Implemented SAP software at both Pirangut and Pimpri plants
2009 Crossed INR 1000 million turnover
  Signed contract with Cargotec, Finland as a supplier partner, to manufacture Deck Cranes and Hatch Cover Handling Equipments (MacPILER)
  Tie-up with STAHL CraneSystems for Ex range (Explosion protected) hoists and cranes
  Cargotec Project – Shop opening and production commencement
